Air India and Uzbekistan Airways have launched a codeshare agreement, with Air India placing its code on "key" India-Uzbekistan routes, the airlines announced Tuesday.
The routes noted include Uzbekistan Airways-operated flights between Tashkent and each Delhi, Mumbai and Goa, the latter of which is seasonal. The carriers also have an interline partnership for connections in Tashkent to Bukhara, Qarshi, Nukus, Urgench, Termez, Samarkand, Fergana and Namangan.
Customers now can book those flights with a single ticket and baggage checked through to the final destination.
