Air India and Saudia have entered into a codeshare agreement that will take effect in February, Air India announced Tuesday. Air India customers traveling to Jeddah or Riyadh can take onward connections on Saudia-operated flights to Dammam, Abha, Gassim, Gizan, Madinah and Taif.
The agreement also means Saudia's customers will have access to cities across India via Mumbai and Delhi, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur and 15 other destinations via an interline agreement, according to Air India.
