All Nippon Airways has started a test of the CommonPass digital health passport on its flights from Tokyo Haneda to New York, the carrier announced. With the CommonPass platform, travelers can ensure they meet Covid-19-related entry requirements with document testing and vaccination history, and ANA plans to use its test of the platform to determine effectiveness of testing and check-in procedures at Haneda. ANA SVP of corporate planning Juichi Hirasawa said the test would "ensure that these procedures will enable us to simplify international travel while also protecting passenger privacy."
