Concur reported revenue of $95.2 million for the September quarter, 23 percent more than a year ago, but a net loss of $14 million
due primarily
to its acquisition of TripIt, announced in January at an expected price of
$86.8 million. "It was the single largest quarter we have ever recorded in
terms of new customer bookings," said chairman and CEO Steve Singh, who
announced plans to "double the scale of our direct sales organization"
during the next 24 months. For its fiscal year ending in September, Concur
reported $349.5 million in revenue, 19 percent more than a year ago, and a net
loss of $10.7 million, "primarily driven by the accounting impacts of our
acquisition of TripIt," compared with 2010 net income of $20.1 million.
