Online travel agency Travix has signed a distribution agreement with Amadeus in advance of Amadeus readying its New Distribution Capability-enabled Web Services and its Selling Platform Connect tools. Travix websites—which include CheapTickets.nl, Vliegwinkel.nl, BudgetAir.com, Flugladen.de and Vayama.com—already have been producing NDC bookings since November in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. That NDC content displays alongside traditional global distribution system content in a single search on each site. Amadeus in recent weeks also reached an agreement in which Flight Centre Travel Group would make NDC bookings via a new interface using Selling Platform Connect.
