Travelport announced it has achieved Level 4 New Distribution Capability certification as an aggregator from the International Air Transport Association.
The certification confirms Travelport is able to provide "full offer and order management and servicing of an NDC booking," including modifying and exchanging tickets as well as processing refunds. Travelport has been offering NDC content from select partner airlines since October 2018 as part of a "phased approach" to its NDC rollout plans, according to the company.
IATA currently lists 85 companies as having attained Level 4 NDC certification, including 17 aggregators.
