Sabre Corp. has added cache-powered shopping capabilities to its SabreMosaic platform, which the company said enables quicker and more accurate shopping across multiple channels.
Sabre's Cache-powered Intelligent Shopping brings together content from EDIFACT, New Distribution Capability, low-cost carrier and agency private content channels. It taps Sabre IQ algorithms to determine when live results are needed and when results can be returned from the cache, which helps keep look-to-book ratios lower, the company said.
"As agencies grapple with fragmented air content and rising traffic costs, our goal is to deliver bookable offers at scale,” Sabre chief product and technology officer Garry Wiseman said in a statement. "Cache-powered Intelligent Shopping pairs smart AI decisioning with continuous offer validation so agencies can reduce look‑to‑book ratios, protect against airline penalties, and convert more shoppers without hand‑tuning rules or stitching together multiple systems."
Metasearch provider Wego has been Sabre's pilot partner for the capability, and Sabre said it has provided "significantly faster flight search performance."
