Qatar Airways will distribute New Distribution Capability content via the Amadeus Travel Platform, per a new agreement with the travel distribution technology supplier.
The agreement will make Qatar's offerings, including NDC content, available to agencies and corporations using the Amadeus Travel Platform. Next year, Qatar also will adopt the Amadeus Altéa NDC tool, which enables carriers to distribute NDC content consistently across third-party channels. Additionally, Qatar plans to "implement a variety of offer and order management solutions underpinned by the Amadeus Airline Platform and cloud technology" to boost NDC adoption, according to the carrier.
Qatar Airways and Amadeus, which has been a long-time technology partner of the carrier, have signed a letter of agreement and are working to finalize the deal.
