Navan has established a direct connection with Emirates for the carrier's New Distribution Capability content, the travel and expense platform announced.
The connection gives Navan access to fares and promotions from Emirates distributed exclusively through NDC, not available via traditional EDIFACT global distribution channels, with capabilities for automated changes, cancellations and refunds, according to Navan. Users also can access such Emirates ancillaries as its complimentary chauffeur service for First and Business Class passengers and baggage add-ons, as well as seat selection.
Emirates is the 24th carrier to join Navan's NDC offerings. Navan group travel marketplace SVP Dane Molter in a statement said the company believes NDC "provides a fundamentally better user experience than legacy systems, and we will keep investing in direct integrations."
