Travel management organization GlobalStar Travel Management has partnered with online booking platform RateHawk to provide GlobalStar's partners with access to RateHawk's inventory, the companies announced.
The agreement in particular will boost GlobalStar's travel management company clients' access to lodging offerings, as the platform reports connections with 320 wholesalers as well as 130,000 directly contracted properties, according to RateHawk chief commercial officer Ilya Kravtsov. The platform uses AI-powered tools to prioritize recommendations based on rate competitiveness.
The platform also offers "a number of supplementary supplier sources for car rentals, transfers and train tickets," the companies said.
GlobalStar executive director of IT and supplier relations Julian Russell said the partnership "closes a gap" for partners with the capability to pre-pay or use a credit limit with hotel bookings, which is a "must-have" for TMCs in certain regions. "Alongside this, the additional flexibility of API integration provides our partners with an opportunity for deeper integration where required," Russell said in a statement.
