Finnair has introduced ancillary bundles, "built on modern retailing capabilities, powered by Amadeus technology," the carrier announced Thursday.
The airline credited the start of its transition earlier this year to an offer-and-order system for enabling "customers to buy ready-bundled ancillaries easily and for a better price."
In the first phase of bundled offers, Finnair customers can buy a combination of seat selection and internet connection for a discounted price when booking on the carrier's website. The combo is offered on all flights in which full internet connection is available as an ancillary, according to Finnair.
That combo initially is offered in limited European markets and will become available gradually in all markets this fall, according to the carrier. Additional planned combination offers will include meals, priority services, carry-on and lounge access.
