Airlines Reporting Corp. and Amadeus announced an updated cooperative agreement to facilitate New Distribution Capability bookings through the Amadeus global distribution system.
The new agreement "provides greater choice for airlines to select between different industry standards for indirect distribution," according to ARC, and updates the existing contract between the two companies for reporting and settling on NDC bookings. Amadeus has been integrating NDC content from airlines into its Amadeus Selling Platform, which makes NDC content available to travel sellers. Earlier this week, Japan Airlines provided NDC content to the platform.
