According to a BTN estimate, UBS spent $42 million in 2025 U.S.-booked air volume. The bank last appeared on the Corporate Travel 100 in 2023. The current estimate is still short of the company's pre-Covid spend of $50 million in 2019.
UBS' business travel and expense policy promotes reducing unnecessary business travel and its associated carbon footprint by encouraging employees to consider the environmental impact of their travel choices. Key initiatives include avoiding short trips, planning flights efficiently and choosing sustainable transportation options, such as public transport, rail travel, electric vehicles and eco-friendly accommodation.
In 2025, UBS' business travel emissions totaled nearly 60,800 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, down from nearly 82,000 in 2024. The emissions reduction was largely due to the reduction of the emissions factors for air travel published by DEFRA.
UBS reported 2025 revenue of nearly $49.6 billion, up about 2 percent year over year. Its travel and entertainment spend for the year was $362 million, up from $337 million reported in 2024. As of the end of 2025, the company employed nearly 105,250 individuals, down from approximately 110,325 reported in 2024.
