Toyota Motor North America's 2025 U.S.-booked air travel volume increased to $75 million from $64.6 million a year prior. Projected 2026 spend for this category, however, is expected to decline by about $10 million.
In 2025, the company transitioned travel risk management providers, renewed major supplier agreements with improved terms and enhanced its environmental reporting. It also updated its travel and expense policy to include sustainable travel language and improve compliance related to miscellaneous expenses and meals. It is using AI tools for expense auditing and fraud detection, reporting and analytics. Toyota Motor North America plans to begin consuming New Distribution Capability content in 2026.
Toyota Motor North America reported 2.52 million U.S. vehicle sales in calendar year 2025, up from 2.33 million a year prior. Electrified vehicles represented 47 percent of 2025 total sales volume, up from 44.5 percent in 2024.
