2025 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $51.8M
The Estée Lauder Cos. recorded $51.8 million in U.S.-booked air volume in 2025, marking its debut on BTN’s Corporate Travel 100 list.
The cosmetics company has a mature program encompassing both travel and meetings across its 20-plus brands.
Estée Lauder’s business travel-related emissions rose from 52,200 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2024 to 57,900 metric tons in 2025, accounting for about 3.8 percent of the company’s estimated Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions.
Estée Lauder has introduced various policies to promote responsible travel, including encouraging virtual meetings and promoting lower-carbon transportation options such as electric vehicles, rail and lower-emission air routes.
As of June 30, 2025, the company employed approximately 57,000 people worldwide, down from 62,000 a year earlier. About 25 percent of its workforce was based in the United States.
