Biopharmaceutical company Amgen recorded approximately $38 million in U.S.-booked air spend in 2025.
Amgen reported approximately 95,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions from business travel in 2025, up from 93,000 metric tons in 2024. The company separately reported approximately 5,000 metric tons of such emissions from executive air travel in 2025, compared with 4,000 metric tons in 2024.
The company's total revenue increased 10 percent year over year to $36.8 billion in 2025. During the year, Amgen continued to expand its U.S. manufacturing network, breaking ground on a previously announced $1 billion expansion of its North Carolina manufacturing facility and announcing investments of $900 million in Ohio and $650 million in Puerto Rico.
At the end of 2025, Amgen had approximately 31,500 staff members in more than 50 countries, up from approximately 28,000 at the end of 2024. Approximately 13,000 staff members were located outside the United States.
