With a travel program that reached $495 million in U.S. point-of-sale air volume in 2025, online retail giant Amazon has retained its position at the top of BTN’s CT100 list for the fifth consecutive year.
The Amazon Travel & Events team in 2025 advanced the program’s development path and roadmap. The team introduced Spotnana as a new technology platform, transforming the customer experience alongside the program’s booking tools, driving higher self-service adoption, increased mobile usage and improved content. The meetings and events program was scaled from early design to full implementation across EMEA, with APAC expansion underway. The data solutions team extended the analytics platform's reach across the enterprise, delivering improved travel and expense visibility alongside new sustainability, contract management and reporting dashboards. Service quality improved across both programs, exceeding service level targets while delivering meaningful year-over-year value.
The team in 2026 is focused on making the program smarter, more connected and easier for its customers to navigate. The team is integrating intelligent knowledge bases that enable customers to find answers faster, while transforming self-service systems with more integrated user experiences that connect meetings, events and travel booking end-to-end.
AI-powered capabilities are being embedded into the program to improve the customer experience. Automation of group travel, special programs and event management capabilities is integrated, which reduces manual booking dependency. The team has also introduced mechanisms that drive faster resolutions when customers need support with quick, seamless access to specialists when needed.
