2025 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $110M
Consolidated U.S. TMC: BCD
Biopharmaceutical giant AbbVie spent $110 million on U.S.-booked air tickets in 2025, according to BTN estimates.
The company last year continued to transform its business after losing U.S. exclusivity for antirheumatic drug Humira in 2023. It generated total net revenue of $61.2 billion in 2025, reflecting operational sales growth of 8.5 percent year over year. AbbVie also increased its adjusted research and development investment to $13.8 billion in 2025, a nearly 28 percent jump.
AbbVie's sustainability commitments focus on reducing its Scope 1 and 2 emissions. To address Scope 3 emissions, which include purchased goods and services, capital goods and upstream transportation and distribution, the company identifies high-impact suppliers and encourages them to set their own science-based, Scope 3 greenhouse gas-reduction targets. By the end of 2025, 51 percent of AbbVie's suppliers had done so.
The company employed approximately 57,000 people in more than 70 countries as of Dec. 31, 2025.
