Pharmaceutical and healthcare firm Sanofi boosted its U.S.-booked
air volume by $5 million over year to $53 million in 2024.
Among its travel program accomplishments in 2024, Sanofi launched a
new AI-powered call center and also harmonized messaging around its travel
program, including via banners in its online
booking tool. The company this year is working on a
policy update, focusing on traveler engagement and sustainability as well as
encouraging travelers to use train travel rather than air travel on routes
where it is available and efficient.
The year also marked the rollout of the new Concur Travel user
interface for Sanofi. In 2024, 86 percent of Sanofi's U.S.-booked travel went
through the online booking tool, and the company is working on implementing the
tool globally.
BCD Travel serves as Sanofi's consolidated
U.S. travel management company, and BCD also services more than half of
Sanofi's travel globally. American Express Global Business Travel handles some
of Sanofi's non-U.S. business as well as local agencies in Australia, China
and Saudi Arabia.
Sanofi has more than 80,000
employees in its global workforce, and the company
has a presence in 100 countries around the world.
