2024 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $37.5 million
Consolidated U.S. TMC: Amex GBT
After returning to BTN’s CT100 last year for the first time since 2019, SLB retains its place with a BTN-estimated $37.5 million in U.S.-booked air volume in 2024.
A key development for the oilfield services and global technology company once known as Schlumberger during the past 18 months was the acquisition of ChampionX, a deal announced in April 2024 and completed in July 2025. SLB had 110,000 employees at the end of 2024 and ChampionX had around 7,100.
Annual revenue has increased steadily in recent years, from $28 billion in 2022 to $33.1 billion in 2023 and $36.3 billion in 2024.
According to its 2024 sustainability report, SLB’s business travel emissions amounted to 210,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent last year, a 54 percent increase from 2023 and well in excess of its 2019 baseline of 165,000. However, overall Scope 3 emissions were down 26 percent compared to its 2019 baseline as it pursues a 30 percent reduction by 2030.
