recovery and growth. EY's global
revenue reached $51.2
billion in the

June 30, 2024, a 4 percent
increase from the previous year.
EY
progressed on its
sustainability objectives in 2024, with
increased spend with Science Based Targets initiative suppliers and expanded
use of diverse suppliers. The firm rolled out an accessibility
desk
to support EY
travelers with visible or invisible disabilities who require
additional travel
considerations. EY's Sustainable Travel Approval Tool expanded to 50 markets,
providing travelers and approvers with trip-specific carbon-footprint
data alongside cost
information to encourage more sustainable travel
decisions.
The
firm achieved a 42 percent reduction in Scope 3 travel emissions against its
2019 baseline, contributing to an overall 40 percent reduction in absolute greenhouse
gas emissions. Train journeys comprised
25 percent of all fiscal-year 2024
travel, up 15 percentage points from the 2019 baseline. EY implemented policy
changes encouraging rail over air travel where reasonable and officially moved
same-day trips out of policy.
In
2025, EY's travel program plans to offer
updated carbon dashboards for
member firms and travelers, implement a third-party supplier that supports EY's
carbon reporting needs and focus on user experience across platforms
and in-trip.
