2024 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $50 million
Primary Global Expense Tool: SAP Concur
Consolidated Global TMC: Egencia
Global insurance, risk management and consulting firm AJ Gallagher has been consolidating a growing global travel program. With 55,000 employees and two publicly announced acquisitions that will add 12,000 travelers, AJ Gallagher last year went from three countries using travel management company Egencia as the cornerstone of its travel program, along with Concur for expense reimbursement and AppZen for automated expense auditing, to implementing it in 16 countries and is now in the process of rolling out the program in another six.
While the tools are not mandated, use of global touchless online service is extremely high and AppZen is processing 18,000 to 20,000 expense reports per month. The publicly traded company recently signed a five-year renewal of its Egencia contract. BTN estimates AJ Gallagher’s 2025 volume will grow by 10 percent from its 2024 volume of $50 million.
