Revenues for the social media company totaled $85.97 billion, up 22 percent year over year. Total expenses and costs reached $53.3 billion, an increase from $46.7 billion in 2019. At the end of 2020, the company had a global workforce of 58,604 employees, a 30 percent year-over-year headcount increase. Facebook counts offices in more than 80 cities around the world and owns data centers in 17 countries.
