Meetings Today Names Top Practitioners Of 2005
Each of Meetings Today's Best Practitioners of 2004-2005 has addressed a key issue facing the industry this year. These individuals have made unique contributions to their companies, whether it is meeting procurement head-on with a proactive approach to measuring a successful program, or creating an end-to-end online tool for registration, booking and fulfillment, or by pursuing standardization and effective communication.
As the meetings industry seeks to prove its value to senior executives this year in the face of cost-cutting procurement drives, these practitioners embody the approach of having the answers before the questions are asked.
Meetings Today recognizes as the Best Practitioners of 2004-2005: Lynn Ridzon, director of global meeting management for Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.; Sheri Bonsall, assistant vice president of corporate travel, meetings and fleet services for Chubb Group of Insurance Companies; and Lisa Stanford, program administrator for travel and meeting services for ConocoPhillips Co.
Meetings Today solicited nominations for best practitioners, whose meetings management programs either completed or began to show verifiable results since the beginning of 2004, from readers.
We appreciate the cooperation of the best practitioners and those in the travel and meetings industry who participated in the process.
