Transportation Security Administration expanded to additional airports a pilot of paperless airline boarding passes
The U.S. . Airports in the program now include Austin, Boston, Cleveland, Houston Bush Intercontinental, Indianapolis, Newark, New York LaGuardia, San Antonio, Seattle-Tacoma and Reagan Washington National. Paperless boarding passes are electronic versions that travelers can display on cell phones or personal digital assistants to clear security checkpoints. TSA said it expects the scanners used by security officers for validating paperless boarding passes to be deployed nationwide "within about a year."
