The U.S. Department of Transportation won't assess "the competitive effects and public benefits" of a proposed antitrust-immunized agreement between oneworld airline alliance members until the carriers submit additional information
. Specifically, DOT asked American Airlines, Iberia, Finnair, Malev and Royal Jordanian to detail their proposed cooperation on routes, timing and "other common terms of a functioning immunized alliance," as well details on proposed "new services or joint ventures from Helsinki, Budapest, Amman, and points in Spain."
