The U.S. Department of Transportation won't assess "the competitive effects and public benefits" of a proposed antitrust-immunized agreement between oneworld airline alliance members until the carriers submit additional information

Specifically, DOT asked American Airlines, Iberia, Finnair, Malev and Royal Jordanian to detail their proposed cooperation on routes, timing and "other common terms of a functioning immunized alliance," as well details on proposed "new services or joint ventures from Helsinki, Budapest, Amman, and points in Spain."
