Sun Country Airlines said it was forced to file for federal Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection

St. Paul, Minn.-based "as a result of recent events at Petters Group Worldwide," its owner, but plans to "operate business as usual." Petters Group founder Tom Petters was arrested on federal charges of mail and wire fraud, money laundering and obstruction of justice. A federal judge ordered a receiver to oversee other businesses in the group. Sun Country flies from Minneapolis-St. Paul to nearly 30 destinations in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
