Sabre Travel Network stopped displaying some of Air Canada's inventory--including certain premium classes of service

--in response to the carrier's decision to withdraw certain low fares from global distribution systems. Sabre's action affects points of sale other than Canada and countries in the European Union. Air Canada defended its decision, saying the GDSs are not capable of handling its array of airfare nuances, but industry groups decried the move as anti-travel agency.
