Sabre Travel Network is asking global distribution system users to help offset reductions in fees paid to Sabre by several major U.S. airlines

Dubbed the Efficient Access Solution, the voluntary program provides travel agencies and corporate accounts with access to full content from participating carriers--currently AirTran, Delta, Continental, Northwest, United and US Airways--and exemptions from any additional GDS fees imposed by airlines. GDS subscribers have until Aug. 1 to to accept "certain financial terms," which likely would take the form of reduced incentives.
