SAP introduced a mobile app to help companies promote and manage ride-sharing.

TwoGo by SAP can help companies lower corporate fleet and travel costs and reduce carbon emissions, according to the enterprise application software provider. Once licensed by a company, the app considers employee preferences when matching them with car- and vanpooling options. It is available on "various" mobile devices, via the web and through connections with "any iCal-compatible corporate calendar application." The app accommodates English, German, Spanish and French, and provides administrators with "reports on employees’ commuting habits and usage trends." SAP indicated that its internal use of TwoGo since July 2011 saved it $5 million and matched SAP employees to carpools "more than 36,000 times," which added the equivalent of "2,200 additional days of networking time" while avoiding 88 tons of greenhouse gas emissions.
