Most major U.S. airlines posted full-year domestic traffic reductions for 2008
. United Airlines (9 percent) and American Airlines (7 percent) reported the largest declines. Alaska, JetBlue and Southwest airlines each grew domestic traffic levels marginally, while AirTran Airways showed the largest increase at nearly 10 percent.
