KLM and Singapore Airlines were among those carriers cutting passenger fuel surcharges
as crude oil and jet fuel prices continued to decline. KLM's reduction, the second since late September, trimmed € 5 from intercontinental segments and € 1 from intra-European segments. Singapore's cuts range from $2 to $8 per sector, depending on flight length. A barrel of light crude began trading today near $58 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
