Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific proposed to assume full ownership of mainland China's Dragonair
. Concurrently, Air China plans to take a stake in Cathay Pacific while Cathay increases its shareholding in Air China. The companies said the new arrangements would create complementary networks and strengthen respective hubs in Hong Kong and Beijing.
