Global airline traffic in October fell 1.3 percent year over year
, marking a second consecutive month of declining worldwide passenger volume, according to the International Air Transport Association. The largest reduction, 12.9 percent, occurred in Africa, followed by Asia-Pacific (6.1 percent), Latin America (4.5 percent), the Middle East (3.5 percent) and North America (0.8 percent). Europe experienced the only regional increase with 1.8 percent growth.
