EasyJet in the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2011, flew 200,000 more business passengers than it had in the year-earlier period
"despite a
general decline in the business travel market," according to the
U.K.-based carrier. Overall passenger count grew 8 percent to 12.9 million,
including 2.3 million business passengers, and total revenue jumped 16.7
percent to £763 million. Total revenue per passenger rose 8 percent to £59.17.
