Domestic U.S. airline passenger yield in October rose by 7.4 percent year over year to 15.8 cents per mile
, marking the thirteenth consecutive month of increase, according to the Air Transport Association. Defined as the "average price someone pays to fly one mile excluding government taxes and fees," yield also increased on transatlantic (9.6 percent), transpacific (5 percent) and Latin American (19.4 percent) routes.
