Domestic U.S. airline passenger yield in November rose by 1.2 percent year over year to 15.4 cents per mile
, marking the smallest monthly increase since September 2007, according to the Air Transport Association. Defined as the "average price someone pays to fly one mile excluding government taxes and fees," yield also increased on transatlantic (6 percent), transpacific (5 percent) and Latin American (11.4 percent) routes.
