Domestic U.S. airline passenger yield in March increased 12.5 percent year over year to 14.33 cents per mile, according to the Air Transport Association.
Defined as the "average price someone pays to fly one mile excluding government taxes and fees," domestic yield during the month increased by the largest margin since July 2006.
