Domestic U.S. airline passenger yield in March declined by 14 percent
year over year to 13.34 cents per mile, marking the largest decrease since January 2002, according to the Air Transport Association. Defined as the "average price someone pays to fly one mile excluding government taxes and fees," yield has now declined for five consecutive months.
