Domestic U.S. airline passenger yield in June declined by 19 percent

year over year to 12.93 cents per mile, the largest monthly decline in at least a decade, according to the Air Transport Association. Defined as the "average price someone pays to fly one mile excluding government taxes and fees," domestic yield has now declined for eight consecutive months. Transatlantic and transpacific yields each were down more than 25 percent.
