Delta Air Lines on Sept. 3 will add three daily frequencies in each direction between Los Angeles and San Francisco,

establishing the Delta Shuttle for the West Coast. Delta Connection carrier Compass Airlines each weekday beginning at 7 a.m will operate 14 hourly flights in each direction on aircraft outfitted with 12 first-class, 12 premium-economy and 52 economy seats. As part of the Shuttle service, Delta will allow check-in as close as 30 minutes prior to boarding, provide dedicated check-in counters and offer complimentary newspapers.
