Delta Air Lines executives said that Pacific demand "is stabilizing" following the severe drop-off in the wake of Japan's crisis

. "We are beginning to see Japan point of sale rebound, particularly business demand," according to president Ed Bastian. "For April-July, our Japan point of sale demand for transpacific flights is down 20 percent from pre-event levels, however U.S. point of sale is still down roughly 50 percent."
