Transportation
Continental Airlines and Lot Polish Airlines have started sharing codes on routes centered on their respective hubs in Newark and Warsaw
. Continental's code will be included on Lot flights between Newark and Warsaw, and on continuing services from Warsaw to London Heathrow, Frankfurt and Amsterdam. Lot's code, meanwhile, will be placed on Continental flights between Warsaw and Newark, as well as on continuing services from Newark to Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, San Francisco and Washington/Dulles. Subject to government approval, Continental would also place its code on Lot-operated flights between Warsaw and Paris Charles de Gaulle that connect with Continental's Newark-Paris flights, according to a statement. Both carriers are members of the Star Alliance.
