Cendant's Avis Budget vehicle services division grew car-rental revenue 15 percent in the first quarter

, partially due to higher rental rates and "increased airport share for both Avis and Budget," according to Cendant president and CFO Ronald Nelson. "Commercial [price] increases are coming more slowly [than leisure price increases], but they have been coming," Nelson added. "In the second quarter, we expect year-over-year pricing growth to improve further, particularly as corporate contracts continue to cycle through renewal."
