Bankrupt Northwest Airlines reached a tentative deal with its flight attendants union
and said it expects a completed ratification vote by July 31. The Association of Flight Attendants said the agreement was reached "in time to avoid rejection of the existing flight attendant contract, as had been authorized by the bankruptcy court."
