American Airlines on April 15, 2011 plans to add 10 new destinations and 33 roundtrip flights from Los Angeles

International Airport. New destinations include Houston, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Shanghai. The carrier also intends to boost frequencies from LAX to Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Las Vegas, Miami and Orlando. Including the new services, AA would operate 153 daily departures from LAX, representing a 28 percent increase from the current schedule.
