American Airlines by the end of September expects to transition more than 200 corporate deals to joint transatlantic agreements with British Airways and Iberia
, CFO Bella Goren said during the carrier's second-quarter earnings call. AA CEO Gerard Arpey added, "We're just now getting to the point where British Airways, American and Iberia are beginning to sell on a joint basis. We're beginning to get the traction that we anticipated, and perhaps we had anticipated a little bit too soon."
