Alaska Airlines in July was the most punctual major U.S. carrier, with an on-time performance of 88 percent, according to FlightStats.
Achieving a top ranking for an eighth consecutive month, Alaska was followed by United Airlines and US Airways (each 82 percent). Delta Air Lines (70 percent) ranked worst among the nine largest carriers for a third consecutive month.
