According to FlightStats, JetBlue Airways in December had the highest cancellation rate among major U.S. carriers at 2.97 percent
of scheduled flights. Alaska Airlines had the lowest at 0.82 percent. Among regional operators, US Airways subsidiary Piedmont Airlines had the highest cancellation rate (5.79 percent), followed by Delta subsidiary Comair (5.77 percent), according to FlightStats.
