A Cook County, Ill., circuit judge on Tuesday denied a temporary injunction sought by Travelport that would have stopped American Airlines from inhibiting ticketing through Orbitz

"Although the motion for a preliminary injunction was denied, the casewill continue on its merits until the request for a declaratory judgment is adjudicated," Travelport said. "Travelport remains confident that it will ultimately prevail on the merits of the matter."
